Warehousing

HWC spans over three locations, Royston, Earls Colne and Sawston, Cambridge. Sawston is our flagship distribution centre, and it was built to be an industry-leading space that has all the facilities necessary for HWC to operate smoothly.

With over a half million sq. ft warehouse space, and 20,000 pallet locations, spread across our 3 locations, it enables us to store our stock with ease.

We have invested in over £3 million in racking and equipment in the last 9 months so our employees can carry out their jobs safely and we’re always looking to make improvements that’ll benefit our business, customers, and staff.

 

Fulfilment

Our fulfilment services enable us to build and maintain relationships with our customers and third-party retailers. Working closely with third parties helps our business to grow and they’re fundamental to our success. We hold stock for Nova and work alongside retailers such as Wayfair and more recently, Amazon to fulfil orders.

It doesn’t stop there as we repair furniture for customers at our workshop, where we also store spare parts. If there’s a small amount of damage, we’ll fix it and return it like new. We’re able to do this due to our highly trained employees and garden furniture knowledge.

Two Man Delivery

Over the coming years, we want to grow our delivery services so we can reach more people and give them the garden furniture they deserve. Currently, we offer two-man delivery on our vehicles in certain local areas, but work alongside leading couriers including DX and Panther, to help us provide a national service.

Our fleet is currently made up of 5 Luton vans and 1 Maximover, with another 5 Jumbo Max Maximovers and 5 Giant Max Maximovers joining the fleet shortly. Our aim is to one day have a fleet of fully electric vehicles. Why? Because our company values encompass environmentally friendly practises and services.
